This is my scrapin Blog where I am going to keep all things I scrap about. I have discovered I love papercrafting and making things from paper and card. I have done crafts for years but have no record of them. Now I have decided it would be good to keep a record, so I am going to keep a record of everything I make so when I am forgetful I will be able to come back and go through my blog for a memory jog.

flowers with butterfly for patients

I decided to make my patients something so I used the flowers created in AE and made a butterfly from sentimentals. the butterfly has the cutout parts of the top under the wing so I didn't waste any paper. Someone asked how these were made. I cut 3 flowers the larger one 2 inches the next 1.5 inches the last 1 inch then put them together and placed them on a flower the 2 inch size that had leaves attached, I curled the petals the same way you would curl curling ribbon and placed a brad or gem in the center. The butterflys I cut from sentimentals but you could use any butterfly and then I bent the wings up and glue lined it to the flower. You could put this on a card but I just gave them as is.
Elegant Pies

I used the Elegant cakes cart so I had to call them elegant pies! I have been playing with the cricut cake with pastry and we had -guess what? pies for tea. I think they would have been better if I had cooked them in the oven but we were already late so I used the piemaker. It hadn'r been used for a while so they stuck but they did taste good! if you look close you can see letters and flowers.

Summer in Paris

Got the cart Summer in Paris and had to try the 3d stuff. Light card and very quick but it should get better. It will look nice in the village I am planning. Ok I have added the other stuff I did on the summer in Paris cart. Not sure what I will do with this yet.
Note to me:- I am not happy about the cuts as they are a bit scrappy looking. The poodle turned out the best when I used a lighter weight paper for the top and altered the speed to low and the cut depth to 3 and the pressure to med. The background cuts well as it is solid but the lacy things need a bit more care and attention

Judys diaper Cake 1 of 3

Click on the title ie "Judys Diaper cake" at the top to watch the video

The diaper cake for Judy. the fairy godmothers are from HEA the arch is an unwound coathanger so I could attach the fairies. 3 layers of diapers rolled and ribboned. the babies are from EDPD's and I have used them to crawl round the ribbon. Placed on a large cryatal plate round the base is the fairies wishes for my granddaughter and daughter "Make all your wishes come true" from doodletype. the fairies are layers on the charm base so I could hang them and I have layered both sides of the fairies so they can be viewed from both sides by flipping the layers. Once done I needed sparkle so I used glitter and added glitter to the fairies. The pics don't show it as well as it looked but she loved it and so did I.
