About Me

I am me! I am happy being me! I am married to a great man who is very patient called Noel. We married in 1974 so on the 20th April 2013 we will have been married 39 years. That's a lot of patience! (that's why he has grey hair) We have 3 children Paul, Ross and Judy. All are married. Paul and his lovely wife Jen had our first grandson Liam on December 13th 2008, and our 2nd grandson Lachlin in April 2011 in Canada across the other side of the world. Ross and his lovely wife Katrina live in Coromandel, and Judy (our daughter) and her husband Jared live right next door and we now have 2 granddaughters who are stunningly beautiful. Tyler was born on 16th July 2010 and Chelsea born on 12th October 2012.  I am a nurse and started nursing on 10th January 1972.  I always liked making things with paper whether it be building little houses or cutting out paper dolls. In 2009 I decided I would scrapbook all my photos and searched for a diecutting machine that would cut out paper images. I discovered the Cricut (pronounced cricket like the bug) by Provocraft and bought a Cricut Expression. I fell in love with this bug and have many of the things that go with it like the computer program for designing called Cricut Design Studio, the Gypsy a mobile design studio which holds all the cartridges, a Cricut cake machine which is a foodsafe machine for cutting fondant and icing sheets and more recently I have acquired an Imagine which is like the cricut but it prints and cuts as well, I have the Cricut expression 2 and also a Create. In 2010 a friend of mine asked if I would like to become a StampinUp demonstrator as I kept buying so much stuff (oh No!) and so I joined as a demonstrator and have a great deal of fun. In 2011 I hope to do some more scrapbooking but so far I keep making all these other things and my scrapbooks are not getting finished. But I am having a lot of fun crafting and am getting better at it. This year is 2013 and I now have expanded into teaching the cricut and making more videos. Check out the videos I have on my video page.
