Window Card from Cricut Creative Cards

I wanted another window card so used Cricut Creative Cards cartridge to create one in Cricut Craft Room. I have upload this as a project and if you would like to go and see it and favorite it that would be nice. If you want the CCR file it is on the website under projects here.
I used CCR to add and manipulate images on the Creative Cards cartridge so I got the window and the bars through it.

Pigs in mud birthday cake

I saw a pic on face book and just loved the idea. It was a cake and it had little pigs on the top. It was my birthday last week so I decided that as my 2 darling GD's were coming over I would make the cake for my birthday. Well I bought the cake and of course it had to be a mud cake. When I got it home I squashed the chocolate on the top used pettinice icing to make the pigs and voila this is my creation. It was good enough for my DGD of 2 1/2 to recognize the pigs. One pig has wings so I could say "pigs can fly" but this one looks like it crashed landed.
rolling the coloured icing into balls to make the piglets

Pigs can fly I gave this one wings but he looks a littl under the weather

Shamrock Card

Bitten by the Bug 2 has another challenge -Luck of the Irish Challenge so I thought I would go green. I was reading some Irish blessings this is "A Wish for a Friend" to all my friends-

Wishing you a rainbow
For sunlight after showers—
Miles and miles of Irish smiles
For golden happy hours—
Shamrocks at your doorway
For luck and laughter too,
And a host of friends that never ends
Each day your whole life through!

this was what prompted me to make so many shamrocks so they can have 'Shamrocks for their doorway' I used the CTMH Art Philosophy cartridge and in CCR used hide contour to separate out the shamrock. Enlarged it and added smaller ones to the inside of the leaves to cut out through the leaves. The sentiment was printed on the computer and cut out so I could have the words in white. The shamrocks are glittered with a gold and green glue glitter.

But ain't dis cute

I belong to a site called CraftersAnonymous and every Monday there is a tutorial if we wish to participate. The tutorial today was a heart card!!! well it is really, it just in the way you look at things. Now I did think this  body was better in the forest out of view "butt the bunnies tell me" and they can see. and the other side of the card is boob-a-licious.

 told you so - boob-a-licious

Front or back some bunny loves ya

The speckles round the middle are vinyl left over after I cut the letters from Cricut cartridge Folk Art festival, the flowers are rolled flowers from Cricut cartridges CTMH Artiste and Art Philosophy. I have used soft suede card stock from Stampin Up for the card base.

3d flower challenge BBTB2 - flower

I was playing round with the Cricut cutting material and wanting to do a rolled flower from the CTMH cartridge in material to see how it turned out. This flower is cut from the Art Philosophy cartridge and I have added some leaves. It would make a nice addition to a blouse. I love how the edges have frayed  and it has squashed down. Check out other people who have used CTMH cartridges to make the 3d flowers on Bitten by the Bug 2.

BBTB2 Challenge 3d flowers on tin

Bitten by the Bug 2 has a 3d flower challenge on currently so I decided to cut a number of the rolled flowers from the Artiste cartridge which is the Cricut cartridge put out by CTMH. Here I have used the flowers to decorate a tin. This was an ordinary can that had fruit salad in. Once used these usually get thrown away but I decided I needed some tool containers so rather than go and buy one I covered this can in ribbon then added the flowers and some thickers I had in my stash from a grab bag. I cut the leaves from the Artiste cartridge also, the CTMH cartridges are very versatile. The altered can makes a good place to store my Cricut tools for when I am working at my desk. If you would like to see the other projects people have entered go and check out Bitten by the Bug 2 and check out what their design team has done as well as what others have entered.

BBTB2 Challenge -Flower covered Bird house

I love 3d so of course when CTMH (Close to my Heart) bought out a cricut cartridge with so much 3d stuff on it was on my must buy list even though I'm across the world. I received a blog email and it had a link to Bitten by the Bug 2. Now I haven't visited in a while but this has got me coming to see them again as they are having a design challenge. The requirements were to use the CTMH cartridges and the 3d flowers on them. Having cut out some bird houses I thought how better to use my flowers so I decorated one of the bird houses with the 3d flowers from the CTMH Artiste cartridge. Now for those who don't know CTMH have 2 Cricut cartridges, Artiste and Art Philosophy. If you were to only have 2 cartridges then I would recommend that these were the 2 that you should get. I love mine so much I have bought both for my sister as they are sooo awesome. Anyway here is what I did with the flowers. I love the little chickens I got for my Easter projects so have added them to the project. Go and see the other projects that the design team and other have entered for this challenge on Bitten by the Bug 2 by clicking here.

yes there is a little entry there.
