Happy Hauntings -Haunted house

I wanted to do smething for Halloween for the Cricut Club next week so I decided to do a Haunted House from Happy Hauntings Cricut Cartridge. My first mistake was to make it 11.5 inches high. Not a problem I had 24 inch paper but swapped to CCR half way through and forgot my sizing. and made all the parts too big. oops they did tell me anaesethics make the memory fuddled but I went back to the gypsy and my sturdy E2 and cut them again and voila here is my haunted houe. The house from the top of the spire to the ground is round 20inches or 50cm. It wont fir in a small box.

CTMH Laughing Lols Workshop on the go

Hi as many of you will know I have signed up with Close to my Heart as a Consultant. My kit duly arrived and with great excitement I opened it and inside was the Laughing Lola Workshop on the go (WOTG) pack. This is papers and embellishments and a stamp set that you can do layouts with. It also comes with a layout chart and how to cut everything. I am not that good at making pages as I need the theory behind what I am doing so scrapbook pages have always been a challenge. This one was still a challenge as it had vertical photos and one 6x6 on the 2nd page but I checked things out and came up with this alternative and am happy with the result. My water sprite decide to investigate the garden pond and I just happened to be sitting by snapping photos. These seemed to be just what I needed to scrap today.
I used the Laughing Lola WOTG the stamp amazing is from the stamp set that comes with it as is the flower. The photo corners I cut from the CTMH Art Philosophy cartridge they are on the decorative font layer in the last row. I showcased the vertical photo by using cream photo corners whereas I have used blue photo corners on the other pictures. The upper flower banner is actually straight it is the way the photo has been taken.

 Thanks for visiting.

Death by Chocolate

Friend Raine wanted a coffin so while I was over there playing we made a coffin from the Artiste Cartridge. I so enjoyed playing and watching how Raine had decorated her coffin that I cased the idea and have done this one. The Coffin & the skeleton are from CTMH Artiste the bones are from Indie Art and Nate's abc's. I used the wood-grain embossing folder from sizzix and sponged the embossed areas with SU chocolate chip and the bones with crumb cake. The finished coffin measures 7 x 3.5 x 1.75 inches. I used CCR to cut it and the size on CCR was 10 inches which with the lid as well fit on a 12x10.5 sheet of paper.

3D Ferris wheel from Cricut Artiste Cartridge

I love making 3D things and when I saw the Ferris wheel on the Artiste cartridge I couldn't resist making one. It is not 3d on the cartridge but with a little bit of work I made it so. I cut 2 of the wheels and 2 of the stands and then cut 16 carts and put them together either side of a small box that was also on the Artiste cartridge. The base is just a straight piece which I have attached the legs to. The wheel turns and the carts swing.

Iron On Vinyl Sparkly style

This weeks Bitten by the Bug 2 challenge was Life's a Zoo. I have been playing with the sparklie Iron on vinyl and my DGD loves unicorns and when she went to the zoo she said "there were no unicorns, Nana" so I just had to make her a T shirt with unicorns. The unicorn comes from the pixie button on PDDU and the grass from CAC edited on CCR to make it the right size.

these 2 pics show how sparklie it is
