CA Australias Biggest Morning Tea

Wow I have never crafted so long and I was exhausted at the end of the day but here is what I did. Firstly thanks must go to Tia from Crafters Anonymous for all the work she put into this event and the money they raised for Cancer research. And a Big thanks to all the ladies who were teachers on the day.

First of course we made a cup of tea! This cute little cup sits upright (so the tea doesn't spill) and I used a lovely little stamp to decorate the paper so my cup has a pretty design. The little chick comes from one of my cricut cartridges Create a Critter. The happiness stamp is from SU but the sentiment the chick is saying is hand written.

Next we made a folder that you could put tea, coffee or sugar bags in and give as a gift. I decided I had just bought some fairy stickers so made mine with the fairy theme. As you can see I coloured the stamp on the outside and didn't quite have enough time to finish colouring the inside.

This is the cracked glass effect and I would have had a better effect if I had used white cardstock and a dark ink on my stamp. I think I probably needed more embossing as well but I can see a great use for this on my haunted house.

Our next challence was to make a daffodil. (Supporting Cancer of course) and we made the daffodil above. Our next thing was a colour challenge so I made 2 more daffs and added them to a pot and made an easel card. The colours for the challenge were yellow blue and white. The white on the card has a yellow look but I'm not sure if this was from the reflection of the daffs or the lighting in the room as the other colours are pretty true.

Lastly there was the sketch challenge and this is the first time I have ever done a sketch never mind a sketch challenge so here is what I came up with.

I did have a great day and it was well worth while for a good cause.
