This is my scrapin Blog where I am going to keep all things I scrap about. I have discovered I love papercrafting and making things from paper and card. I have done crafts for years but have no record of them. Now I have decided it would be good to keep a record, so I am going to keep a record of everything I make so when I am forgetful I will be able to come back and go through my blog for a memory jog.

Sad snowman
Sad Snowman probably cause its raining here in the middle of summer.
This is the Geometric snowman from the make it now projects in Design space. The pieces were embossed with the CTMH embossing folder Honeycomb (z1995) the ribbon for his scarf is CTMH as is the washi tape which I covered his top hat with. The top hat I designed on design space by using pentagons. He stands 8 inches tall.

The Sewing Box
The sewing box is an svg file from Pepito's room. I have had it for some time but decided I needed to make it to see what it looks like. I used papers from my stash except the roses on the tulle are from Close to my Heart that came in a Christmas surprize box, and the gold on the scissors is CTMH shimmer trim. The scissors close to come out so the lid can be opened and it is quite a large box at 7.5 x 6 inches and 4 inches tall. I have lined the box although the file did not have this n it but it makes for a smoother looking inside. The open box I have propped up with the scissors. The embossing on the top is from CTMh folder that is in the seasonal catalogue.

Get well
A friend is needing a hart value transplant and some of the guys have been teasing him that they use pig valves. He asked his surgeon who explained he would be getting an artificial one. I thought I would make him a get well card. This was done on the explore. I loved the sunburst with the heart in the centre from Simple Cards the pig I downloaded a giff file from ine internet cleaned it up in design space and used it for the piggy. the hearts are from close to my heart Artiste. the Stamps are from CTMH Artiste collection and Typed note S1504 (watch for this one it is SOTM in April.
I find it difficult to do flat cards so I popped up inside piggy on a pop out shelf and put the grass behind him and the hearts in front.

I elfed the grandies
Cricut design space has a little elf called 'you self the elf'. This is because you can put in a picture of whoever you want and the person is then an elf. I made the first one the size that it came into design space as and it didn't have a face so we had to draw one on him. he was out first one. But Miss T and Miss C liked the way he jumped about so I decided to make smaller versions of the elf and put their faces on elf. Melody Lane has an awesome video of how he goes together so check out her youtube video here.video

playing with svg files again
I have been playing with svg files again and of coursethey come from svgcuts.com
I do so love their files and think Mary is a very talented designer. The other thing about their files is they are always nicely finished and Leo and Mary put out a video on how to put them together. I have learnt heaps from just watching their videos. Now as you probably know I have die cutting machines but for those of you who don't many of these files have the pattern you can download and cut by hand. Today I wanted to do something on the computer but it was not cooperating so I journeyed to the path outside my door to take some photos of the golden carriages and then thought I needed to blog these pics so Madge and friends can see them so here goes.
