Agin another serviette but this time put on a sea shell.

3 different cards with one stamp set

using a layering technique with silver filigree stickers

Stamps - you can do so much with them.

My DD wanted some logs to pratice her cross country skills so one of the farmers next door gave her some logs and the other brought them to her place and put them in the paddock. She wanted some special thank you cards for them and so these are what I made. The tractor is from 'my world' and the logs from 'Pooh and Friends'. The wording inside the cards is from 'Doodletype' welded with the DS and the thank you's on the front are from a variety of carts. I searched 'thank you' in the keywords and cut them all then used the ones I liked at the time. The front of each card is stamped with thank you in a number of different stamps.

this is the start of a card but I thought it so pretty with the movement I have taken a video and posted it. I was trialing the cutout cards and did a butterfly cutout. As with many children give them a hole and you have to put something in it so what better than a butterfly. I suspended it top and bottom and this is what I got.

Owl card for silhoutte

The ribbon at the bottom seem to delelop the card to a new level. The inside is 2 owl cuts and the inside is stamped and if you put a light source inside the card (non flamable of course) it makes the owls stand out.

Owl Card

Using clear plastic over a cut out of an owl on the inside of the card. I placed the outside owl on 2 2mm popdots. With light from the inside you can see it glow.

My first SU party

Wow what an awesome time. I think at times I was speachless! something very new for me. I do wish I had had a week to assimilate all this new stuff. Well I though I should put whay I had done up again as otherwise as I'm getting older I will forget what I have done untill I remember. I love butterflys and love pink and blue. This is a spiral card different than my spiral one earlier. When you tilt the card the butterfly rolls along the cutout. The Happy Birthday is a cutout that is folded and pops up when the card is opened.

Looking at the pics I have put the parts that I want to cut on the virtul mat in DS. I then have measured how big each piece that I need to cut and you can see the pic with the paper on the virtual mat. I have then cut the pieces out and have taken pics of this and then I have taken pics of the pieces on the mat. I have put them together so you can see how they go together. The only thing I have done is cut the brown of the tree and the blackout shapes on another mat as I didn't have enough room for them all together. Hope this helps to explain how you get colour in the pieces.

Firsts

This is my first scrap book page, and my first born! It has only taken me 31.5 years to the day to do this! I hope this is just the start. Paul had a mickey mouse coverlet on the bed that was in his room hence the mickey mouse characters.

Paper Dolls

Someone on the mb wanted to see doctor and nurse dolls having been thinking a lot about work lately I thought I would give them a try and here is my effort. Will get better pics when I get the camera out.

Gemma's Diaper Cake

Gemma is pregnant and Judy is putting on a baby shower for her. So this is the ideal opportunity to make another diaper cake. Also I met a lovely talented lady called Bonnie via the cricut mb and she made the faces for the dolls. I use the NA cart and PDDU and the faces from Bonnie.

The Birthday Card

The boss's birthday and no card!! Oh no! This card is made from 4 pieces of 12x24inch cardstock and the basketballer is 23inches high. The lettering is black letter and I have shadowed the inside lettering. The outside of the card I did with the frame in Black Letter and welded 8, 6" frames to make thwe outside window. The inside is blank to allow people to sign it.
