Baby shoes

These baby shoes are very cute and I have been doing a lot of baby things as I am expecting a new DGD very soon. The upper ones are cut from the Bundle of joy project on svgcuts.com and the lower ones from the CTMH Cricut Artiste cartridge. They are a bit tricky to put together as I did cut them quite small. the upper ones come with a liner to cover the bottom but on the lower ones I there was no liner so I added one but forgot to add 2 (maybe I have foot in mouth LOL) but it would be quite easy to cut a liner a little smaller to cover the tabs that you can see in the picture. In the bottom ones they also have small holes to thread ribbon through I just havent done this as yet as these were practice ones. Gota love practice ones. I also realised after I had cut them there is a little strap for the bottom ones. Maybe I need to read the book before I cut them again. Makes for more practice.

CDoF Lantern

This is another lantern from svgcuts.com it has a small apeture in the back so it is easy to put in a battery tea light and the ones I use are colour changing so they look quite pretty. it has holes to put in a handle and I made this handle from paper clips. It is only about 6 inches high but is quite cute. This lantern is from their "Crisp days of Fall" project.

MissT's Princess Castle

My granddaughter turned 2 and we had a party for her on the Sunday. One of the things I had made for her to play with is a paper castle as she l;oves castles so from the Princess Party Cricut cartridge I made the 3d castle. It seemed very flat so we gave the turrets "hats" and I made the party hats to fit the turrets and glued them on. we if you look closely some came off but like a good crafters granddaughter she saved them and took them on and off as she needed to. The castle seemed to be a great success as she put her ponys inside and fished the fish out from the top of it. I made 2 boxes to stabilise the square of the castle so it didn't just fold up.
Nana I can put my hand inside with the pony.

My new fishing rod can catch fish if I put them in the top of the castle

You can't see them but there's 2 ponys inside that castle

Ahh look very closely at the left hand corner

At the end of a big day I asked MissT if she would stand by her Pony castle she raced over and got her castle to bring it to me. Now how cute is that for a Nana. I am the luckiest Nana to have such a lovely granddaughter.

80th birthday

Happy birthday Aunty Pat.
The card is 6x6 using cricut paper stack 6x12. The sentiment cut out comes from cricut Kates kitchen as do the curtains and the teapot and cup. The background is embossed with Hexagon Illusion by craft concepts and inked with SU certainly celery. The clock comes from Spellbinders shapabilities Retro mod clocks. The 80 I cut on the cricut from the leftovers of silver sticky paper. The sentiment at the bottom stamped in certainly cellery which says Life is short eat desert first comes from the stamps set in Cardmaking in easy steps.
